Those of you who were at Volksworld on Saturday may have noticed that Beeglebus was up for sale, and he is now sold...

This is probably one of the last pics of our 2 buses together at a show, their first and last show together in fact...

I dithered all morning before putting the 'for sale' sign in the window as I couldn't face it really but in the end I forced myself out of fu**wit mode, stuck it in the window and 3 hrs later and I'd taken a deposit

So now we have just one bus to fuss over. Bit of a luxury having two really, so after much debate at home it was decided to keep just the one, and the crewie won the debate!

Thanks to everyone for all their kind comments about Beeglebus over the weekend, and I'm sure his new owners will love him as much as I did...(do)

So a bit of a mixed bag day on Saturday what with one thing and another, lots of beer consumption Saturday evening though, ease the pain...

And then the sunshine appeared again on Sunday, so much better

Best outcome is to make the decision, get it sold and then you can just get on with it, no regrets. :)

Bolt the new alloys on and that'll cheer you up! 8)

If not, get on thesamba, source another one and start again!

Indeed...  you're right Clem, if it hadn't have sold on the day I'd probably have changed my mind again...

New beam with adjustors nearly ready to go on the crewie, along with those nice new shiny sprintstars 8) 8)

so far have managed to resist the samba, that just gets me into trouble

Oh and btw, thanks again for organising the line-up at Volksworld matey..good work:wink:

it will be sad to see the beeglebus go, its a cracker.
you also like to use the loud pedal if sundays drive home is the norm

out of all the buses in the lineup i think you have my three favorite in that pic.

It was a real beauty im sure your sad

Must have been hard to chose between those two, both absolute crackers.

cheeky sod.....

just thought I'd give all those Mondeo men a run for their money....always a giggle watching peoples faces when you blast past them in an 'old bus'...tee hee...I will really miss that bit, especially as the 1776 is nicely run in now... Maybe I should stick it in the crewie.....

Anyways.....Wibbler, lets just say I got the asking price for him, right on the button, so well pleased with that.

Cheers guys...

i don't get on here as much as some, so didn't know that was your bus carole...

...but from checking the lineup pics, i thought it looked cracking. i did meant to post saying so, which from a lover of the deluxe to the exclusion of almost all else, like me, is praise indeed!

not suprised you found selling a fairly quick, if not entirely painless

*shocker on the sale.......... it looked fantastic from the pics i've seen and that shows with the quickness of the sale.... 3hrs!!!!! congrats thats awesome.

Was also surprised to see him up for sale Carole but having seen this van no shock that he sold there on the day .
