Ok so this may be a blindingly obvious question, but on a 71 with a factory servo fitted, should the brake pedal position when at rest be at the very top, in line with the clutch pedal ?

Mine was always about an inch or more below, but after fitting a new Servo & pedal pushrod (from Butty's Bits), I have adjusted it so there Is approx 3/4" free play in the pushrod before the Servo activates on the master cylinder, this allows the brake pedal to rest against the stop under the floor.

Just wondering what anyone else is seeing ?

Brakes are back to being flipping amazing & stopping with very little effort.

Thanks.
