Brake pipe reservoir to master cylinder problem

i need the pipe which connects the two together as mine has split, do i have to buy a formed pvc pipe one as the original or can i use some general pipe, if i have to use the original has anyone ever bought one and where from

Got mine from Graham L, but you'll need new rubber inserts (no. 6) from Heritage.
I found that the pipe length and bends are different between vans of the same year. :?
Can't see any reason why a bit of generic pipe of the same bore won't be OK though.

The pipe is made of a specific plastic and as such wont perish when used with brake fluid . The rubber grommets can be purchased from Mega bug for 2 quid each and are genuine as ive just bought some at the weekend . What year is the bus as 68's had a steel formed pipe ??

where is your reservior, is it behind seat or on front panel near headlamp???
If on front panel i have been told these are not available new, so secondhand or you may be able to make one if you can get correct pipe!

Take the old pipe to a local motor factors and get a new piece suitable for brake fluid.
Don't worry about the preformed bends, it'll be easier to feed a straight piece through the lower front valance.

preformed is no longer available, if you can get a suitable replacment let us know, always handy to know where to get some in case!
if not try some one who breaks busses etc, needed a couple of obselete parts for bug at volksworld, Megabug had them at thier yard (secondhand) and went and got them for me! Always seem to have the stuff i need, great service. Or put a wanted add on here.
