As I suspected, looking increasingly unlikely I will be able to get over on Saturday and Sunday is a deffinate no-no. Bummer, really like this event.

My bus will be back with me on Weds.

Looks like it will be 11 months from initial purchase to finishing.

So as with most everyone else I underestimated the length of the process by about 50%

We went for the day only and it was good fun in between the heavy downpours! My 9 year old daughter Grace brought her camera and is responsible for all the pics, (apart from the one she's in) she knows what's cool and what's not

The 'Battle' was won by the lates - a more diverse line-up of cool rides in multi colours, the proto's were under subscribed, but the green and white winner was deserving and whilst biased I think the judging went the right way to the lates

The Coca-Cola trinket bus and the SC from the proto's got my vote, the pea soup Riviera for the lates (gives me something to think about for my project proto bus ), and Ned's rat panel is still one of the coolest out there...

We had our engine lid open all day, even in the rain so people could get a bit of engine porn - it proved quite popular, I just wish i'd cleaned it up a bit before we went. It was a bit dusty...

I managed to collar some bloke in his EB that was heading for the 'day parking' and managed to convince him he'd be happier parking nearer the stalls!

Sadly there was loads of EBs in the camping area but they clearly didnt want to play out...!



BTW - does anybody know if the comedian survived or did they burn him?

Yeah a great weekend again at BSO, pity 'bout the early lineup.

The owner of the green early is the guy who Mot's my bus-John.

The owner of the Late Riviera is Padg who's in our club, he built
the interior himself from scratch adding playstation dvd tv etc.
Also had a small feature in Camper and Bus mag this month.

Mine's the Neptune Blue F plate btw

Roll on next year and payback time for those pesky lates.
