Broken down in Monmouth - going to get recovered to Malvern - if anyone sees a rear hub for a 69 please put dubs on it, mine is lacking splines.

Just a quick note to say thanks to the Bristol crew for making us welcome this weekend and also thanks to pongo and the crab helping to get my hub replaced... that side of the van drove home lovely...

the passenger side hub however did start to strip its splines 10 miles into the journey so a careful drive home ensued!!

no pics of earlybay line up I'm afraid although the vans on the Saturday line up were awsome, but I do have a few pics of some vans that struck me whilst looking at the splitty line up :lol:

I loved this engine bay it was so clean and neat! There was a cupro-nickel fuel pipe made by the owner from the firewall to the carb.
(sorry no pic of the van)



I had a great time but had to leave early on Sunday unfortunately. Great to see some other earlybayers there and some new folks.

We had a great time. It was a perfect weekend. Next year we will be there with the van for sure. I'm going on a test drive with all the required tools and spares together with my mechanic next week. We will find the problem and tackle it... On the hard shoulder.
