I can't get my cab doors to shut properly to be able to align new arches.
Should there be any shims on hinge to be able to raise rear of door? It's about 1/2 inch out of line with swage at B pillar. :?
It's a '69, so can anyone post some pics of hinges and doors to make sure the PO has fitted the correct doors.

Thanks

Hi
Have you tryed adjusting the door striker plate this will lift the rear of the door and then shim the bottom hinge out a bit

Is that a pull back ragtop you have on your bus or is it just fixed on ?Reason i'm asking looks like there is fixings all around the edge

Neither, PO decided to have a roof window and fixed a piece of perspex on with coachbolts and batten. Ripped the front support bar, headlining and interior lights out at the same time!

Was a dormobile conversion and the roof had trapped water in the offside gutter and rotted the lot out. Hence the filler foam and pudding stuffed into every hole.
I knew there was a bit of work involved, but the list is getting longer.
Still, what else can I spend my money on?
