Right I've had my ICT 34's on for a while now with no problem...Had to have the engine out last week and since then my idle has been running high. The problem is the throttle returning to stop. It would appear the springs arn't pulling the arms to the stop plate. Its a matter of millimetres and it moves easily when you get round the back and move it by hand...its more annoying than anything else. Has anyone else had the same problem? Cheers

Havent had this problem, but you could try some new springs or tightening up the throttle cable in the twin linkage as you would have changed that when removed. 8)

cheers easy...with the throttle cable do you mean that it should push the bar back in place?

Yea it should come to rest fully back when the pedal is let off, just needs a tweek on the cable grip where it meets the linkage.

Try undoing th cable completley from the linkage and then see if it returns, if it does then bingo! otherwise it may be the springs, you can get new ones easy enough and at a few pence (You can even uprate them if you want  )

cheers easy...think I've fixed it now. One of the arms leading to the carb was long that the one on the other side meaning that one side was going to the stop limit and the other one wasn't quite making it...a few mills made all the difference (as the misses says!)

nice 8) its all about the extra mil

Do you have a separate return spring on the linkage or are you just using the small ones on each carb?

they have a spring on each carb...CB performance. I uprated the springs a while ago.
