Camping and caravan club......

Anyone a member?
Considering joining it this year as we plan on using the van to escape for the weekends and thought this might give us preferential treatment if we just turned up without booking in advance.
Also more chance of getting somewhere with an electric hook up at a recognised site.
Any thoughts?

Yea joined last year.
Stayed at some great sites, they do temporary sites, used one at St ives, rugby club in cornwall great views, basic facilities but only £7 pn 2adults and 2 children.

Found a great site right next to monkey world, realy cheap thats the one why we joined.

Sounds a bit anorack'ish now but their club camping get togethers are fun.

You will get your money back on the sites that you save the money on, if the made sense, tis a bit early for my brain to work proper.

Yeah, just been reading a bit about the club (should be working but hey ho) and it sounds like a good idea, i like the fact that they also have temp sites so should always be able to find somewhere to stay in an emergency.
Planning on going around the welsh coast and they appear to have a lot of sites.

Well worth joining, you even get a naff mag every few months.

If someone recomends the club to you, when you join if you supply their member no and name they get a free girt. :wink:

but sites are really good and clean you know what you are going to get and site managers very helpful
plus you get discounts on ferries etc

its worth joining for the site book, some of the basic CS farm sites are members only and are top ,a real escape

the CS sites are good and nearly all of them are members only. the sit ebook has everything in it as does this site seeker page. really good!!!! :mrgreen:
