So my westy import is registered as a 1970 but the m plate says production build date as november 69. Sad but I always wanted a 69 bus so am i even sadder getting DVLA to change it to a 69?

Manufacturing years run from August so its a 1970 model built November 1969.
Mines a 1971 model built 20 November 1970 :D

I see that makes sense. Ok I will settle for it being a 70 model but even happier it was born in 69. Thanks for the info

When you are buying parts, refer to it as a 70. Buy parts on line and no one ever needs to hear you say it.

When someone asks you how old it is, you can say it was built in 1969. Anyone who is rude or geeky enough to correct you can be dismissed

I'm glad you said that, will be really important when ordering parts. Thanks
