Hi All,

I'm a tad puzzled re the fittings for the interior cab door panels. On removing the old orig panels each of the holes on the cab doors had remains of a rubber bung in them that the metal clips fitted in. Are these rubber bungs needed? The new clips I've bought for my panels seem to push into the cab door holes and are a tight fit without the rubber bungs. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something before I go fitting all the new stuff!

Cheers
Craig

Ive always found that repro rubber bungs stop the clips fitting!

I'm liking that reply Clem... I know nothing is cheap, but £19 for a pack of small rubber bungs!

I got my clips and bungs from JK and they all fitted fine tbh. The bungs had some oily residue on them, not sure if it was left over from the manufacturing process. Surely using the metal clips through the door holes will mean you'll never get them out again once they've sprung into place?

I have one of the panel clip removers... v shaped that seems to do the trick. Seemed strange that no other panels in the bus had the bungs in the holes?
