Can't get side lights to come on without the headlights...

My bus has recently decided that it wants its headlights on - not just it's side lights.

So I pull the switch out one click and the side lights AND head lights are on.

Pull switch out two clicks - same result.

Before I blame the switch - anybody got any other suggestions?

MOT's due so any advice greatly appreciated.

does sound like the switch if its happend all of a sudden and its both sides.i take it you havent been doing anything new with wiring?
