Hi all
Got a go few miles on my new 1641 in me 69 bay running standard bocar 34 and standard exhaust but now want to change for better carb and exhaust to let out those few extra ponys
! I was thinking along the lines of single choke Webber and vintage speed exhaust ! Any advise greatly appreciated

Go with twin carbs. I have 36 DRLA's on mine. Very easy to set up and balance, runs very nice too. As for exhaust, anything other than a standard exhaust (well, maybe not a monza!) will make a difference. A turbo style affair or a vintage speed will fit the bill nicely. Its all about breathing. In its simplest terms, the more air you can get in, means the more fuel you can put in, means more power, so long as you can get more exhaust out as well.
