Carbon Filter Removal Queary

I've just removed the American carbon filter thing from my engine bay as it's now surplus to requirements. Any idea what I do with the solid pipe it attaches to...the one which pokes out from the fuel tank/filler area? Do I just blank it off? Cheers.

It connects to the breather on top of the tank so don't block it off

I've not done anything with mine yet, will probably run some rubber hose round to above the battery tray and up into the fresh air but point it downwards if you know whaI mean!

It's on the list of things to do :roll:
