CE code gearbox question - help needed!!

I have replaced my CA code box with a CE code, on my 1972 crossover with a 1600 AD engine.
I am able to push the clutch pedal to the floor and the clutch is not disengaging, I have tightened the clutch cable as much as I can.
Do I need to change the clutch to a later type, if so could you give me details of what year/part number?

Original clutch housing is at The Engine shop, maybe I will have to wait until I receive this back and I can compare them :?
