Clutch actuator arm

Fitted a replacement Empi gear lever. It has been great except when coming from 3rd to 2nd. Decided to try and adjust the clutch cable, but when I got underneath the van I found the cable actuator was bent. Have ordered a new actuator, but how do I change it?

There is a circlip holding it onto the clutch fork shaft. Likely that the actuator is rusted in place and very difficult to shift .
