Colour matched spray paint

Anyone have any good advice on getting VW paint codes made up into rattle cans for repairs and touch ups?
Any advice on wheres best to get some from and any experience of how close the colour match is would be great...
Looking for Montana Red L30H.

I've had 2 different ones made up at Halfords and both were a good match...handy as local too!

can halfords colour match from a panel.... say the engine lid?!?
just thinking my paint is probably faded quite a bit!

I think any automotive paint shop can do it.

I took mine to https://www.lewentltd.co.uk/ and they had a paint scanner, and from the scan they get a code and can duplicate and create the exact colour in a paint mixing machine. (ie all colours possible are made up of different concentrations of blue yellow and red etc).

It was not very expensive, a few £ per spray can, probably less if you buy the paint in a pot.

Romart paint & automotive or as said Halfords lucky you know the paint code bingo saves taking a pice off the van or the van in my case you will get that easy Sir best of luck with your repairs touch ups
