I’m not confident in the bar design to hold up the pillow section of the bed on the early bay. I tried bending up a bar to use the two holes that already were in the roof. There’s just not enough space for a decent support
I was trying to figure a way to support it from the bottom,but have access from sitting up on the bed platform. So I rooted around my metal and plastic scraps for ideas, and came up with this

5.5” piece of 1/4” x 2x2 aluminum angle with 6mm threaded hole. 6mm x30mm turn bolt, 1/4” UHMW sheet for a spacer, and a 6 mm lock nut and washer

When it’s turned out it rests on the roof ribs, so good support there.

When turned in , flush with the roof edge, and the knob lets me know which way the support bar is pointing from up top
