Hello,
I've been in the VW scene for many years but i'm new to EB and have been watching from the side lines. What a great forum it is!
Went to Vanfest last weekend and had a fantastic time. (thanks to Matt & Lisa) met some of you guys there, would like to say how friendly everyone is :D
I was lucky enough to sell my Karmann Ghia there so i'm now armed with some folding and on a mission for my first Early bay, if anyone see's anything please let me know.

Matt Maz? Must be the Red Ghia. You were camped next to us, there was me, Ant and Leon with the Chimanea. Not sure if I spoke to you but welcome. Hope my kids didn't annoy you, they were going up and down the road on various skateboards
Anyway, welcome to THE best forum around imo

Welcome to the EB side of things
Enjoy the hunt, there have been some really lovely early bays listed on here lately so I'm sure armed with some folding you will find what you are looking for - looking forward to reading about what you find

It was a pleasure having you guys there, we had a great time to.

Good to see you on here.........Great forum name

I have been looking out for a van for you, it's quite exciting really, I think that Lisa thinks I've had enough of the Panel but I keep telling her I am looking for you.........don't think I would ever sell that :D

If you fancy Brighton, let me know.

Ste, if you hadn't woken yourself up with your snoring, you'd have been ok in the tent

Camp Windsurfer, Ant & Leon looked amazing with the fire, I suppose thats the benefit of living 5 minutes away, being able to get someone to deliver a Chimnea?? I could always start a new trend with having it as a roofrack accessory??

Hope you do get an Earlybay Jake, it is such a great bunch of people, with everyone really happy to help, they even let the father-in-law camp with us in a T25.......can't imagine a splitty club doing that ;)

Hey Mat,
Yep it was a bonus having the Chimanea, didn't get to chat much but I did enjoy trying to convert my mate to the ways of the 'rat' Freddie Kruger is a nice touch too

I'm actually thinking about taking a fire pit (a bit lighter than the chimanea) to the colder shows (i.e Final fling)

Thanks ooro,

Was good to meet you too. Can i advise that if you decide to stay overnight at a show......plan ahead !
We're looking forwards to geting a van and camping more although it's a shame that it's nearly the end of the season. Is anyone going to the Haloween camp in Suffolk, fancy dress compulsory???

jake fancy dress is compulsory so come as you are

i am ;)

should be cool in more ways than one although they do supply kindling of sorts , i`m just gonna chop a few trees down on the way and sit on the fire all evening then get in me bus with a leccy blanket
still dressed up of course.......

Thanks Ant.
I priced the ghia to sell. I made the decision to sell it and didn't want to fanny around. You know what it's like when you want to do something and it takes ages ;)
