Yep after watching tonight it's on my list of places to visit in the bus this year
Were doing a three week jount from the Wirral up to Scotland and down to Cornwall and back.Should be eventful

watching it makes me get real itchy feet and now i cant wait for it to warm up so i can get the van out. I'm never happier than when i am sitting outside my van in the middle of god knows where with some good mates and good scrumpy and the suns going down...arrrhhhh roll on the summer!!

What a cracking pitch tonite!

Goredale Scar 2011 - expect pictures!![/quote

Looks like a good place to camp - loved the Yorkshire Rhea egg and Chorizo sausage

Whoa, just found out that the programme featuring DubsattheCastle is on next Thursday 17th Feb - Should be a few familiar faces on screen, what a great bit of advertising for the Show :D

Looking forward to seeing that, shame my van broke down on the way to the show last year!

Have to say im really enjoying his program

I watched it for the first time on I player last night, it was really good, just what I needed to get the wife in the camping mood too.

I liked it too, im thinking the bus is a Brazilian air cooled, at least the 2000 Y plate one in tonights show was. Had new style steering wheel, new tailgate with VW roundle. Or did i imagine the number plate and it has been restored with late parts?

Just

Really enjoying this, it's been getting a real slating over on Volkszone though  . Suppose it doesn't tick all the 'scene' boxes.

Certainly is inspiring me for the coming summer. Surely this is what owning a van is all about, not niggling about minor things like the guy's long hair or his obvious enthusiasm.

Always so many haters out there!

I agree with you there, I can't see what the problem is with this show.
How many people would put themselves up for this. He's just a bloke with a fondness for food and campers. :D

Why are some people so negative

I have warmed to the geezer and think the whole format of the program is refreshing and shows how the van should and could be used :D

He comes across as a very into-the-scene kind of guy and his enthusiasm for what he is doing is great to watch - feel like I am there sometimes ;)

Really enjoying the program and actually spuring me on to get the van finished :D

I can see why some people may get annoyed so just turn the tv off! but what a nice fella! glad to see everyone on here is enjoying a bit of good tv. I have actually ordered his book for some basic recipies.....

Im still enjoying it. He's just doing something that most of us would love to do. I also like that he can really surf and rides a horse pretty well, too. Seems like he's no faker!

Book is a good read, some common sense info at the front and also a list of tunes - "beercan" by beck is always on my ipod thanks to Martin!
Only seen the first episode due to work commitments so looking forward to watching the full series when I get home. I will be full time working on the camper finishing interior and getting her ready for MOT - I reckon 5 days work, program sounds like perfect medication for camper induced stress and strain 8)
