Tonight on BBC2, or whenever you want on the iPlayer. A programme about a bloke, some food and a van. He isnt Jamie Oliver, so whats not to like? Well, its a late bay. :(

lol, you beat me to posting this by 2 minutes!

he's the author of the campervan cookbook btw, my 1 year old lads favourite book, after 'moo cow kung fu cow'... seriously!

Cool - and it's on all week.

Cant miss Thursday's - "...a campervan accident means a trip to the local hospital and the whole trip is put in jeopardy."

meant to post this up....

martin is a cool chap... hes not a chef, just a bloke with a passion for food and all things camper!!!

he camped with us on the saturday night at dubs at the castle last year as thats where the penultimate episode was shot! hoping my bus might appear in the background!!!! anyway he joined us for cider on saturday night and he is genuinly a decent bloke!!!

believe the show is as much about campervan ownership as it is food!

we did discuss if he gets a 2nd series he may go for something along the lines on a earlier ride!!!!!

My Humax is all set and ready to record the complete series.

I'll watch the lot next week, looking forward to it.

Just watched it, it was pretty good. We met him and his campervan when he was doing a book signing. Brought the book (signed!) and after finishing it, it was one of the tipping points pushing us to buy a camper!

Well that was entertaining, but I don't think half of us on here will be able to access those lanes to the beach...

I was thinking much the same. He's certainly living the life.....sod!! Good show and shall be watching the others.

Just watched it on iPlayer - enjoyed the show 8)

Like said above, nice job if you can get it ;)

Must say it went down well in our house

I was checking out the van and its little features (as above notice the dome hubcaps, whitewalls and black number plates on a 79 bus)

Misses liked the whole 'cooking programme' aspect of it

As mine is off the road still, its good to watch to see someone who knows what theyre doing in a van and what cooking/camping essentials to take

Top class programme

Martin was on TLB :msn4: and explained about the number plates. I noticed the hub caps as well, just thought I had missed something.

I didn't spot two vans but was intrigued by the hub caps... how do they do that?

Hub caps you can buy them to fit later wheels as per the penultimate item here :-
