......got home at 17:35 .......picked up my mail :shock: .......new JK catalogue 8) ........page 20 bottom left hand corner.........rear bumper 1957-1972 £16:50 :shock: ...........they close at 17:45.....grabs my phone and credit card :wink: ........fancied a couple or 4 at that price :mrgreen:

...strangely they didn't want to sell

anyone else want to ring them :lol:

Isn't there some law/trading standards act that says they have to sell at the advertised price? :?:

A couple of years ago we got about £100 + free 5 year leather protection off a sofa-bed from sofa-workshop cos they'd made a pricing/offer error on their website which was cheaper/different than their catalogue.

They acknowledged the difference and honoured the sale - and then quickly updated their website :mrgreen:

the price is an 'offer to buy' but unless they agree to the deal then you cannot do anything.........

......I quite like JK (£5 delivery, good range of stuff) although they get some bad press for some of their stuff.........but the guys attitude stank really :shock: ......he gave me the curt legal response and said they would not agree to that price :evil: ...which is fair enough but it was their mistake and they didn't know about it......... modern customer service for you :wink:

true, but SSP/Heritage put ALL their prices up a fraction to cover it
