I have a van in my workshop, the owner ordered parts last August, they were eventually delivered in December just prior to Xmas. We started work in the new year and realised some stuff was wrong, I think we got the right parts in early March. There are still unresolved issues but we have just had to deal with it. Email communication draws a blank, so just keep trying on the phone. The stuff is good when it comes but I would shop elsewhere in the future.

I thought I heard recently that they weren't answering phones or e-mails for a month or so as they were too busy. :?:
Another company I won't be using ever again.

I don't use anyone who doesn't answer or worse still has no phone number advertised. I wanted to get some bits from Custom and commercial and gave up searching for a number and spent my money elsewhere

Machine 7 don't use the phone at all , but answer emails very quickly and the service is excellent.

Don't doubt there service Clem but id always go somewhere that have time for there customers 1st. What can be spoken about in a few minutes could amount to a dozen emails especially for someone new to Air-cooled. Heritage always get my orders because they speak to me and more often than not they are cheaper and will price match anyway.

Yes, I have sympathies on both sides really. I worked in a bike shop for a time and the hours that could be spent dealing with phone calls from people wanting to chat all about the bike they owned and what they might, or might not, buy for it could and often did, run into hours of time :D Sometimes it meant a sale but so often not ...

The key is responding to customers, I don't think anyone doesn't understand that parts can be out of stock, or that small market engineered stuff may incurr lead times but people just want to be informed. :)

If the rumour that CE are no longer doing any communication as they are too busy is true, and ICAN beleive it, well, I am lost for words really!

Guessing you had them written down before they removed them, either that or I managed to miss it somehow. Thanks for the numbers :)

From the C+C web site:

"Telephone Contact

We have spent a great deal of time improving our web site to give as much information as possible regarding our products and services. We have also made it as easy as possible for customers to contact us regarding their orders, quotes and general product information via email. This has meant that we no longer operate a telephone order and enquiry service for retail customers. Removing the telephone service, has allowed us to focus and improve our contact and customer service further even more."

Creative engineering are useless. My adjustable springs plates are from them, great bits of kit once they arrive. After 3 months and being sent late bay parts twice

I know their beams and brakes aren't much cop though

Ordered my shocks from there and they sent the wrong ones. Had to continually chase them, took over a month to sort out. Never used them again.
