I'm after a bit of advice if anyone can help

One of the five bolt holes that holds the wheel on the front drum is cross threaded....

Is this is a new drum job or could helicoils/timeserts fix.

(can helicoils/timeserts cope with bolts being regularly removed and replaced ?)

((Does anyone have a spare unwanted front drum for sale ?))

Should be alright with helicoils, they're designed to be re-used. And there are four good ones! - I reckon you'l be alright...

I would suggest a new drum as it is nice to no that your wheel are held on right. Also when you go and have a new tyre fitted they probably will strip it out any way.

If you don't want to replace the drum then replace all bolts with studs? Use a very strong thread lock on the stud.

Note that I accept no responsibility if your wheel falls off if you do that.
