Has anyone got one of those pressed metal cup holders that slide in to the ash tray, if yes would you say they are worth £29? If you don't have one of these, what other things could I use for my cuppa or can of coke as trying to gently squeeze the tin between my legs often ends up messy and looks like I need those special grown up pants

£29 is a bit high for a bit of tin :|

Makes Paul's buddy box even more of a bargain, 2 cup holders, storage, and can be removed to use as a mini table outside for not much more

This is what I did to mine. It did mean putting screw hole in the pedastool.

It is a cup holder made to slide between the seats of a regular car. I wanted to still be able to walk between the seats if I needed to, so this was my best solution. I didn't like the ashtray style ones. :)

I have one of these, but got an early version without the tiny phone holder

I have the cup-holder that slides into the ashtray. Works perfect, although it can rattle against the front of the ashtray a bit. Looks way better than screwing 'modern looking' plastic cup-holders to your van, IMHO.

taking the fresh air vent out of the pipe work is a great size for a can of coke. its like it was designed for it! plus you can turn the fresh air on and get a good old breeze on it to keep it nice and cool!!

So after all the ideas and inspiration, I have made a cup holder out of a coffee can using the ashtray to hold it in place...
