one of mine has a huge hole in it so i've just got a kit and intend to fit as soon as this poxy rain stops.

Any tips on fitting? does the drive shaft come off easily once I have removed all the bolts? There seems to be some kind of serclip in the kit as well?

Any help would be great thanks :)

do you get volksworld? go back a few issues 4-5 months ago there was a whole section on how to change them in really good detail, ill see if i can find which exact issue.

I have a haynes but it doesn't go into much detail and I only have the last two volksworld mags... new to this camper malarky see

Well I did it this morning and all went well, was actually pretty easy. Had to make a quick trip to motor man as one side had star shaped bolts, not torque but double (about 12 points) never seen that before? but found the right tool for the job in the end...oh and it's bloody messy, oil everywhere

thats the one! I actually found them much better than the allen style bolts, it's a shame the new boot kit didn't come with them now I have the right tool!

Where did you get your kit from? GSF supply the GKN/Lobro original which comes complete with everything including a new set of bolts.
