Dear all

I have a 1970 bay that needs 4 new CV joints, I thought I should do them all while I had the time.

I was going to go for these
CV Joint Kits x 4 Bundle Kit £ 146.81 Inc. VAT Part number J11223 http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_2_split/cv-joint-kits-x-4-bundle-kit.html

But then I saw these and planned to buy 4
CV Joint Kit £ 27.89 Inc. VAT X4 = £111.56 Part number J12819 http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_2_split/cv-joint-kit-1.html
then I can spend £35 on other items.

So my questions are
• What would you pick?
• Or can I get them somewhere else
Thanks in advance jim

Looks like the single ones are italian, couldnt see what make/country the 4 pack comes from but if they are german I would buy them, from memory I used Lobro before which I think are german & they seemed to be good quality. Although I guess you would expect any cv joint to last a good few miles.

Do you 'need' new joints? Will not clean, regrease and new boots/fitting kit be enough?

If you are replacing, Id go for the better quality (dearer) ones. These repro parts are bad enough as it is. I just bought 4 boot kits at the weekend, and they are quite disappointing!
