Hello AGAIN!

Ok this question is what is the firing order of the cylinders. Mine is (I am taking this from the notch on the dizzy) 2,3,4,1 my mates is 4,3,2,1 and I have been told it should be 1,4,3,2. So what is right, is there no right or wrong and can it be changed?

Sorry for so many questions

PS. can I use my condenser from my 009 on my vac dizzy?

the firing order is stamped on the alternator stand (1,4,3,2) unless it's right it will pop and f**t, woke the neighbours up one morning after getting it wrong with the banging from un burnt fuel in the exhaust going up :D :D :D

Well that was what I was thinking, but the engine has run fine not a thing wrong, now I am guessing I can not just change the leads round can I

I don't want to seem silly but huh? And what is that going to do?

Also am I right in thinking that the cylinder order is:
as you look at the engine from the rear of the van:
left back - #4
left front -#3
right back -#2
right front - #1

as you look at the engine from the engine lid
1-right rear
2-right front
3-left rear
4-left front

firing order 1,4,3,2

oh really, thats very german of them :) I will have a look for that under all the oil and dirt I have been colleting :)

just to confuse everybody if somebody has rebuilt the engine and put dizzy drive shaft in 180 degrees out it will still run but leads must be adjusted to suit,

but they will get hot.
