Hi all,

We've found a crack on the cylinder head (Cylinders 3 & 4) between the spark plug and valve apertures. It seems to propagate through the spark plug thread and to the surface. Been advised this is more likely in need of replacement than repair.

Any advice on where's best to buy from, or has anyone managed to get something similar repaired? Also would it be best to replace both cylinder heads as a pair?

Will add pictures later when not on mobile.

Thanks in advance,
Katie

My suggestion is to get a pair of AA500`S, they have a modern combustion chamber which will make the engine more efficient, and also use long reach spark plugs, therefore there`s more material in that area reducing greatly the chances of cracking.
Call Cool Air, speak to Vince and tell them i told to speak to him, he will know the heads.

As the saying goes Buy once cry once. So not worth the hassle of ongoing problems.
