We now have a whopping 14 buses :shock: :shock:

soon have too many to count on my fingers...(Weymouth not Portland :lol: )

....still too many '72's (7 so far) :twisted:

...I did see another 'L' plate cross over (late front and rear, with early floor :?: )...but it was gone by the time I had run home and got the camera...oh and goldfish memory with the Reg. No. :oops: :oops:

I have seen in before on Weymouth sea front so it will be got :!: :mrgreen:


Keep them coming....our late bay and splitty friends seem to be in hiding :(
 
mjknight71, i forgot about my mates 73 danbury crossover!!!!! he bought his the same time as i bought mine!!! will get his reg details later, xrv???? its red and white, L reg, lives in gosport, hants!!!!

I'm not sure, but looking at the colour charts, assuming that is the original colour, it could be Cream White. :)

I reckon your mate's van, Jason, has possibly remained local all its life if it has the 'RV' in the registration, as that is from the Portsmouth area. My parents' Danbury, which they bought new in Southsea was 'VRV' on a 'K 'plate. :)

...so 'reg plates' which bit is location..... mine is VGR...so is it the VG or GR??

yes doug, i think rv is a portsmouth reg number!!!! my mate got his van from near chichester/bognor regis way, so close to portsmouth!!!!

Where it lives:- currently somewhere near Brighton, previously Southampton and before that Blackfield north of London
Colour (past and present):- Original Paint: in a lovely blue, i forget which one :roll:

Engine:- Original 1600 single port
Mods:- Polished Empi 5's, ally mesh sun visor, new seat covers and curtains

Mods:-Ground up resto @ Bushaus (Thanks Ben!!), including 1641 engine. Custom 'Chippy built' danbury based interior. Polished Gas burners. Retrimmed seats and covers. Twin 36 del's.
