Was thinking of changing my pods in the dash to MPH ones for easier reading and was maybe gonna go for Deluxe ones so i get a clock with it 8) 8) Is this possible and or a good bad idea , cos could poss pick one up at Vanfest :D

hope you have deep pockets.... deluxe clocks on their own go for nearly £100

The clock sits solo in its aperture so no probs there fitting one £100+ unless your extremely lucky the speedo and fuel gauge are in an oval dual pod arrangement again a simple arrangement to swap out, not sure on the drive gear in the wheel is that the same and all the gearing performed in the speedo?? You could have the speedo re-geared for MPH if thats so....

Some people fit a normal dash clock onto the blanking plate where the clock goes , something like an old smiths one with a chrome bezel, just need to make a 60mm hole. If you can find one out of an old vauxhall they have the silver bit in the middle that matches the other pods on an early bay. They normally go for about £20, bit cheaper than an original deluxe if you can get one.
If your worried about wether a mph speedo will work on your bus I have a good late bay one you can try for nowt.

Easy to do done it to both mine just get a mph dash pod and swap the parts over only takes about half an hour as for the clock they are expensive but well worth it
