Hi

I'm a newbie to the forum and am looking for any help that any of you more experienced owners could give me. I've spent years, and I mean years looking for a T2 Early Bay and am still looking. The problem is I'm no mechanic and know absolutely nothing about vehicles, the only thing I know is that I've wanted one of these buses for that long it actually hurts!!! The other problem, apart from my complete lack of knowledge is my finances!! With 5 boys we can't afford to spend in the £14k region to get something that's had all, well most of the work done already and with the £4-5kwe have I know I'll be lucky, very lucky to get anything at all so that's why I'm asking for help. I've seen so many that look ok but then even I can tell when I get there that they're going to fall to bits within I week. I've also seen some for that money that appear to look great but have been snapped up in a matter of hours and I've missed out AGAIN!! I don't mind getting a bus that needs work doing, obviously I can't expect anything else for the money I've got BUT there appears to be such a huge difference with some......some are advertised as projects and look like they've been abandoned completely for years and have has frogs and god knows what living in them and they're up for £8k and then there are some within my price bracket that look ok???? Basically I'm asking that if any of you know personally of a bus that is in decent enough condition to not be a complete death trap for my family and you could point me in the right direction I'd be VERY, VERY grateful for your advice!!!!!! Thank you so much in advance xx

Think you posted this link on my facebook page today as well, if your budget is £4-5K then yes its tight but not impossible, its really about looking and at the moment there are some bargains about so keep looking.

As Midland Early Bay we import most of our buses from the US and as blank canvas 'projects' they start from around the £4K mark but do need work to get them MOT'd and registered but if you are willing to learn then theres lots of jobs you can do yourself with the help and guidance of this forum, so you've come to the right place 8)

Whereabouts in the UK are you? as there are lots of helpful members spread across the UK that can point you in the right direction.

Hi and welcome- your looking in the right place
Speak to Graham above, he gets some great looking buses and has a good rep on here!
Good luck!
