What is the best stuff to use to stick the door / rear hatch / deck lid seals on?

Cheers,

I was advised - and used - impact adhesive (bought the B&Q version in tubes). Seems to work, and easy to remove when you discover you've bought craps seals and need to replace with decent ones :)

Cheers guys, ill get the impact adhesive first from b+q..

Ive only bought the deck lid and engine bay seal (the one above the gearbox) so far from vw heritage.

I will need the rest of the seals though, where's the best quality then?

Well I went for c&c seals and I'm not that happy with them. I also used Alan Scofield and they seemed pretty good. Status seal come highly rated aswell. Don't go for JK seals they seem to get bad reviews like most of there parts! Best to spend more on good quality ones than buy cheap and replacing them.

I've got Status seals.
I also used contact adhesive and masked off the bit I wanted to glue with tape. Applied the glue with a small brush and then waited until the glue was touch dry, removed the tape and stuck the seals in. Saves getting glue everywhere and sticking to the wrong place. :)
