Finally getting under way with the 71 Dormobile.....



On its side and Belly pans ready to come off....




Nothing worse than expected.... only 2 buckets of rust swept from floor



Started on chassis repair... plenty more to go :(
 
Funny how all the UK Dormobiles look like this at the start of their restorations. Mine was identical (see pictures in my sig link). Well done though. A promising start.

Did you buy the repair panel for the chassis front RH fork or fabricated to get the holes?

Nah, bought that one. Can't remember where though but guess stockists source from the same place.
 
slow progress.... removed offside sills, jacking point and started removing front u section under floor... not often a bus looks better in real life than it does in photo's....
