Well I went and spent far to much money



There goes my Bouncy Bouncy privileges for the rest of this month.........and probably March as well

We drove up, long way for a day and it was freezing, not helped by taking the bus up and akin to driving a fridge :lol:

Sold some bits and then duly spent the proceeds on cab door rubbers :roll:

Good turnout don't think I'll take the bus if I go again, to much salt about on the roads for my liking. Spend all my time chatting and keeping an eye on the kids so no pics. Sure Clem would have taken 1 or 2

I had a pretty good day. Sold and bought some stuff (was good to meet you; slowmo, shoardy bay, Craggle, Jeffrey (BUS OK.nl) and dubbedup67 and Andy from Malpas (not sure if he comes on here but he owns a xover) who was first in the queue - I was 2nd!!)

Each to their own I guess Rob. I spent a good while talking to the owner, nice guy who is restoring a 65 devon. he reckons there is only 150 R36s in the UK. (I liked it anyway !!)

After I posted I was thinking I bet it's a rare one or something an it is always cool to see stuff like that you even seen the phaeton that's a cool car

Wasn't sure what to expect but thought it was a good little event. Sorry, that should read: "Trade Show" :msn4:

Few points:
- Large selection of traders including most of the usual suppliers.
- Auto jumble was good but, as expected, every seller happened to have sold the bits I was looking for just 10 minutes prior to me asking :roll:
- i.e. I didn't get there early enough :mrgreen:
- Wasn't a particularly social event
- Free parking
- Indoors = bliss
- It was *heaving*! I turned my back for a moment and lost the lads I was with for a good while!
- A tenner seems a touch too steep for entry
- Bad for my wallet
- Easily justified the last point by saving money on stuff on my "wish list" (had to offset the entry fee by buying bits :msn4: )
- Vehicles for sale: most of you have got to be kidding with those prices, right? Sheesh!
- Well organised with friendly staff
- Why can't I leave by the same doors I came in?
- JUST BECAUSE IT'S "RARE" DOESN'T MEAN IT SHOULD BE EXPENSIVE :roll:

Sorry about that last one but there was a particular trader and an auto jumbler that didn't seem to understand this fact.

Sound like you had a good time then matey was slamwerks there an have they made the raise steering box section yet an I know everything is rare nowadays

Slamwerks were there but I didn't have a chat to the lad on the stall this time as he was a bit busy each time I was near.

I got a couple of goodies; mostly stuff that I shouldn't be buying i.e. non-essential or shiny things. Most of the stuff in my ebay watch list can be deleted now Nothing to write home about though
