Help please - our fuse box has split in half and deposited the fuses on the floor! Has anyone got a spare replacement for sale please?
Or, does anyone have any bright ideas about upgrading it? Its part number 411 937 505 A which I think was specific to this year?
Thanks.

Theres plenty of stuff about this on here and the samba. There is a white nylon later 1970 fusebox but these are difficult to get hold of. This would be a swap for the earlier orange bakelite 70 'box that cracks apart. You could use a 71 'box it's basically the same, if you can't get hold of a later 70 'box. :)

As you have the old box still. I bought a C and just put all the fuse holders in the C from the A as there is the same amount of spaces.

As said before the A ones are not made as well as the B's and C's. I think it was a design fault identified by VW very early after production.
