you could use a company like vista print, for 50 calenders it works out at about £5.58 each, if you had payment in advance of say £10 I'm sure 50 of us would buy one.

they recommended image size is 1665 pixels x 1325 pixels

we could have have a competition with votes from the members to choose 12 photos.

Just an Idea.

Another calendar would be fab. :D

I think as has been mentioned, the more vans we can get on the pages, the better.
I forget the exact style of the last one, but something along the lines of a large feature photo on each page, with some smaller ones around the edges or along the bottom perhaps.
In addition to deluxes, crossovers etc we could have different conversions, panel vans etc. :D

Not sure I have any skills or contacts to assist much, but happy to help out wherever possible. :)

here's a pic of the ones we got, again if you want details pm me

Great idea,
I'm all in favour of a new calender. I'm sure loads of people on here would buy one.

I quite agree that it seems you can only have splitties on calenders these days. lets get early bays in print and show how much better they look! 8)

If you want a stock 68 Dormy for somewhere in the calender let us know 8)

put me down for one if you go ahead

Good luck.

O.K there is a bit of interest in this then, but as stated its's gonna be a lot of work for someone to arrange.

I like the idea of getting people to advertise on it to help with the funding.

obviously it's not gonna make someone rich overnight I would be happy to help out in anyway if only just to cover my cost's.

How many of you would really buy a calender for maybe £10-£15ish??

I have no idea what cost per unit but a traditional calender designed up and printed wouldn't cost much more than £10

I was working on the basis that the 'Volkswagen Bus' split calender retails for a tenner ... that covers profits but is produced in tens of thousands and sold around the world by a calender specialist. I reckon a short run would be costly beyond viable? Dunno :?

i can get them done digitally inhouse fairly cheaply and get it all at cost. Its just our designers are too lazy/greedy to do anything even as a favor :( and charge an arm and leg.
