Early Bay Front Door handles Positioned Different to late??

As the title really...

I have a 72 cross over and recently brought some new doors for the cab...

when i came to put the door furniture back onto the doors the interior handles (opening and lock) didn't line up with the pre drilled holes...

I have had to fit them using self tappers... Trouble is now i am looking to buy some covered interior panels will the holes be for a late bay or an early??

Bit of help would be most appreciated...

Oh and if anyone has any nice interior panels for sale i may be your man!... :lol:

New doors as in barazilian repros?

If so, its just poor alignment. All doors from 69 - 79 are interchangeable, with a few mods along the way regarding lock mechs and hinge pins.

Quite a common thing, Im afraid. You'll need to fettle.... not painted yet I hope?
