Early bay tailgate

I have a tailgate which i bought for my '72 bay on ebay but surprisingly it didn't fit as its, what i suspect, for an early bay :shock: Upon fitting it sat about 2 inches too far down into the van with a big gap at the top :roll: Totally rust free and from a delux van. No window. Want what i payed for it which was £65. Photos to follow soon. Just pm if interested.

Here's the pics as promised. Checked everything that someone mentioned in a different thread and i'm convinced this is for an early bay

Totally rust free and even comes with free sound deadening

The original holes are there for the volkswagen tail script too. You can just about make them out in this pic

If anyone requires any more pics or info just pm me and i'll take some of the required area.
