Thinking ahead, but does anyone know who or roughly how much a boss would cost to fit an early 911 steering wheel to a 71 van.

I've mailed KK who specialise in this, however Richie is on hoilday until next week and no one can give me an answer.

I have an option to buy one within the next couple of days, but don't want to jump in just in case the boss is a problem.

I'd buy it anyways, bosses vary in price a lot so given a chance to loose it snap it up and get shot if its gonna be a problem, someone on here would take it off yer hands...

Did you get any further with this? Looking at doing the same thing, but with a Heritage copy, great price. From what I understand, the splines are the same, but you need to remove some from the back of the wheel, and im not sure if the indicator stalks will be too close to the wheel?

The AAC wheels that are complete, and do fit type 2's, have a lot more dish to them, but are twice the price, and appear to be wood rim only

Kempy has sold his bus now, but someone else may know.
