East France camping, and Lakes.

Looking for a campsite next to a lake down the middle east of France? Champagne region maybe, but not essential! Anyone found a good one. Decided not to risk England this summer after the start we've had with the weather

The central massive has a few lakes and lots of mountains. Really nice region I know its further south but I would highly recommend it as an area to visit. Le mont Dore was the area we visited,the camp site we used was http://www.campingdeserrette.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, not next to a lake but near one and site had a pool for residents to use.

We went there first this year took two day to get there but was well worth it. Will be planning a return visit next year.
