just returned home from a weekend away 8)
my boyfriend has been to Elan valley a few times and said its one of his fave places, as its his birthday this week thought would be a ideal time to go.
went to the camp site he`s always stayed at (fforest fields), really cannot recommend this place enough! (13 miles from Elan Valley)
lovely site, really clean, decent showers, and loos (they are a must if you are to get me camping in a tent  )
pitches were a really good size, electric hook ups if needed.
tents, caravans and campers were there,
family friendly place, well behaved children and dogs allowed
they even had a fridge in the office with suplies, bacon, milk etc, and just put your money in the honesty box
for anyone interested this is their website

couple of pictures
lake at campsite
sunset making the pine trees look burnt
beer bottle night light
