empi shifter

any tips for setting up one, had all new bushes to the linkage and recon gearbox ,reverse ,3rd +4th are fine 1st +2nd are notchy :?

The Empi shifter is a different setup,think I`ll have to just have to fiddle about a bit more. :?

HI Chrisby. when i fitted the empi shifter to my brothers bus all i did was selected 2nd gear removed the gear leaver . dropped the empi in bolted it up and that was that .

So if I select 2nd on the box do I select 2nd on the stick before I bolt the 2 together or leave the stick in neutral and bolt up. :?

if you select 2nd on the box then the cup that the gear leaver sits into will be in the correct position just drop the Empi in and bolt her up from memory {i could be wrong}the first part of the gear leaver {the straight bit before the bend } should sit vertically . hope this helps
