EMPI twin 34's

I have the chance to buy a set of EMPI twin 34's.
Are they any good, or stay well clear?

they are the equivalent of WEBER 34 ICT's which are ok for 1600 stock engines. should be ok.

I wouldnt buy themdood, they are a very cheap copy of the webers and the quality has suffered some what. I know a bloke who is on his 4th set of them and has finally found a set that work :shock: spend the extra and buy genuine weber, it will be worth it in the end :wink:

you might want to make sure you have the right jets for the engine. I have some of these and they run fine now after some new jets and getting them set up properly.

i guess the carb bodies are cast in China, ive seen those pics of the chinese weber copies and the cast was unbelieveably rough.
