Hi
Just been looking at Johnraw1's post http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17612&start=60" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And I'm just curious as to whats involved,how's it done any modifications involved eg: does the engine tin need altering,gearbox mount ,How much extra clearance do you get etc.etc.
Any one done it...whats your thoughts......Dave

hi dave, I might be 100% wrong, but i think he means he has had his engine surport bar trimmed back and a 1303/1302 gear box fitted, which sits higher (see slamwerks build thread, gadget, evil ben and ego tripping are also running these) but you need a adaptor, i'm unsure how much work is involed as all above know there **** and there way around a tool box (.......unlike me :lol: )

As said i might be wrong i'm sure john will update or correct me, but i've never seen an engine raised in a bay, i've seen beam raise and bodydrops

Hi ash
I thought the 1302/3 box was just for lower rpm on topend and you had to change the nose cone for them to fit a bay (not sure)
If you compare these pics,look at the pressing on the side of the engine bay where the seal goes.John's engine is a good 2-3 inch higher than stock :D
