Engine fitting advice please

This will be the 3rd time I've done this and it took 3 hours the previous times with a friend helping! ie i'm no expert! Just wondered if others have fitted without the engine support bar attached to make the engine easier to manouver and then once attached to the gear box put the engine support bar on then. Anybody done this? :? Thankyou

I'm certainly no expert in this, but when mines been going in it's always had the bar attached.
