i got a 1968 t2 bay camper has anyone put a 1700 pancake engine in one of these..if so have you got any info please.

Ahh a 1700 so your going for the rarist of the rare then..... :lol: why not the 1800 or 2ltr or have you laid your hands on a 1700 cheap....

Theres a few on here I believe, the topic came up a couple of times last year.....

weve had the 1700 for a while now..been in 2 other campers of ours, but we got this 1968er and id like to drop it in there.
i got the gearbox as well.
but there is no provision to bolt the top of the gearbox to the chassis does this matter??
i can knock some kind of mount for it.
