FAO: Westy Pop Top Owners

A friend of mine borrowed a westy camper from a friend of theirs to do one of the music festivals this summer. They managed to rip a chunk out of the canvas when putting the pop top up (apparently it had been caught in the hinge)

Now they have already bought a replacement canvas - not sure where from - but they now want to get someone to fit it for them properly and have asked me how much I think this should cost. I really cant say for sure having never had the job done before, but they have had a quote of £300 from someone - is this reasonable?? I dont really know much more than this.
