Fell in love with my van again today !!!!

Its been a couple of weeks since i took her out for a spin and i finished work early, so out she came,.......and i needed to pick up my rear seat belts from the shop......its amazing how fast you unwind from a stress filled week, nice that people point and smile, had some woman shout out "i love your old bus" out of her car window, least that's what i think she said? then picked my boy from nursery and he loves going in it, got a bloody great big smile on my face,....what a great start to the weekend!!!!...

Gotta love that feeling, I just popped out to pick up our takeaway in the van, pumped up the volume with a bit of prodigy, ignored the fact that my indicators dont work, the brakes are spongy, and enjoyed the drive

I've got 4 days off next week to play with my van.
Dont know what i'm going to do but it makes working nights all weekend better knowing i have playtime to look forward to

i know what you mean drove mine home from my mates garage yesterday,its been there 2 months having various bits and bots done,all the way home, window down listening to that wonderful engine sound bliss

Just got back from 3 excellent days at Big Bang and lots of unexpectedly brilliant weather. Recently spent about £6k on complete respray, new rubbers, new panels, roof canvas and headline and still paying off the credit card but after this weekend...... worth every penny!

I'm with you bud we had a rubbish week really tired n stressed out so we climbed in the bus Saturday and headed off to a local park for the day with a few disposable BBQ's ended up staying there all day and it was the nippers first trip out in the van as he's only 5 months.

He was trying to steal the uncooked meat out of the cool box the little bugger but he got a good long walk and a few banger n burgers so i think he was happy!

I wasnt to happy spending an hour hovering out the dog hair out of the van the next day though!
