few import questions, firstly the importers need the vin number on it its a 71, bujt where do i tell the chap to find it?
secondly the bill of sale, can it just be like... vw type 2 van 1971 sold to (me) for 1million dollars signed (original owner)?? cheers
aaron

You can find the VIN number in a couple of places but the easiest is to look through the windscreen at the dash panel and it is on a plate just like most modern cars. My bus is LHD so the plate is on the drivers side. Also the bill of sale is simply a receipt showing a value for customs purposes.

Anyone else know of any good shippers im thinking kingstown are the best iv come across yet?

Yea been quoted by him and hes been really helpful but iv been quoted a good 600 cheaper with rinkens with kingstown handling this end and still its 600 cheaper

Awesome well done whens it getting sent? Mines getting picked up next week

Struggling to see how you can save £650, are you sure Rinkens Costs are not for Ro Ro rather than container, also do they include the costs at this end which Kingstown will have included, their costs inc duty etc usually work out at £5-600.

What price in USD are you being quoted for the actual shipping, if from Cali it should be around $1500.

Hi graham I've paid 1075 dollars to rinkens collection on the 18th and I've got about £300-£400 to pay with Kingstown ... In a container .... Mine is a car though :msn4:

Rinkens are also collecting from the owner to the dock for a $1 a mile :D

Mines going in these new type containers where one car goes on top of another on hydraulic lifts
