Hi all,

Can someone point out to me where the ply headliners clip into / how they stay in place?

Cheers

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying 1/2" aluminium angle, pop rivet it the length of the van, fit the ply then gently fold it over to hold the ply in place?

What do you think?

May be better getting some U channel, and milling off almost one side so you have a nice clean edge all the way along, and a small lip to hold the ply? Just a thought! :)

EDIT, or something like this http://www.goodingalum.com/p9/prod83/Profiles/Panel-Wall-Board-Fixings/Pan-L-Trim/Panel-Wallboard-6mm-profiles/Pan-L-Trim:-Wallboard-Profiles" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The channels that Gooding Aluminium produce that are the closest match to Westy trims are these

You need to use 1.5mm birch ply in 5' x 5' sheets to do this. These are the ones I used on mine.

Try these they do some profile that nearly identical to the og stuff (og was galvanized steel).

I couldn't find any channeling either the right profile or right finish anywhere, so I ended up using some tile edging strips from Topps Tiles. It comes in loads of different widths, lengths and finishes and it looks the dogs todgers if I say so myself.
